Guangdong Honghao Chemical Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou University carried out the industry-university-research cooperation project "Development and Industrial Application of Oriented Structure Anti-fouling Protective Coating Materials" and won the second prize of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2023.

Silicone oil functional molecules. Grafting specific anti-adhesion silicone oil functional molecules into the industrial resin structure synergistically achieves the significant anti-fouling function of the surface layer of the resin coating and the good adhesion function of the bottom layer to various substrates. Through optimization of resin functional group structure and ratio, cross-linking agent structure screening, water-based and blocking structural modifications, anti-fouling and protective functional coating materials have been successfully developed and industrialized, using modified resins for silicone functional molecules. The design and engineering amplification and application of anti-fouling protective coating materials provide key materials and technical support. The technology has reached the international advanced level and achieved significant social and economic benefits.
